The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will organize SSC CGL 2020 examination for recruitment group “B” and “C” posts in various ministries and departments of the government. The combined graduate level examination is conducted on an annual basis. Interested candidates must apply for the SSC CGL exam to be eligible for recruitment in the vacant posts. SSC CGL 2020 Exam Pattern Tier 1
Tier 1 exam will be an objective type of exam that will be held online. It will have 4 sections containing 100 questions. Each question will be 2 marks which are about a total of 200 marks from the entire SSC CGL Syllabus.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern Tier 3
This will be a descriptive type of exam which is available in both English and Hindi. It is conducted in offline mode. The candidates have to write an essay/ letter/ application etc.
- It is a qualifying exam and the duration is of 60 minutes.
- The duration is of 80 minutes for physically disabled people.
Tier 4 only has a Data entry speed test and CPT (Computer proficiency test).
