SSC CGL is an examination organized to recruit staff to various posts in ministries and organizations of the Government of India. It is organized by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting staff for various Group B and Group C posts. The age requirements for SSC CGL are between 20 and 30 years. The age limits may vary with respect to the position applied. Candidates must check the SSC CGL eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

The following ssc cgl eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the interested candidates for appearing in the SSC CGL 2020 exam:
- Candidate should be a citizen of India, Subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
- Only the Tibetan refugee who has come to India before 1st January 1962 for permanently settling here.
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam for permanently settling here.
For Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer: A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Commerce/ Business Studies/ Business Economics/ Business Administration (Finance) is needed. Chartered Accountants, Cost & Management Accountants and Company Secretaries are also eligible to apply.
For Junior Statistical Officer: Candidates with bachelor’s degree in any course securing a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics in class 12th are eligible. The students with a bachelor’s degree with Statistics as a subject are also eligible.
For other Posts: Those with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university can apply.
Candidates in the final year of graduation who will possess the required qualification before 1st August 2020 are also eligible.
